Jesse Janssen
International Ambassador | Abbotsford, BC
Jesse is a leader, a motivator, and a lover of adventure. He is an International Youth Delegate for the Children AIDS Health Program. Born and raised in Abbotsford British Columbia, Jesse currently attends the University of Ottawa, where he is pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Social Science with a Major in Political Science and a Minor in Life Sciences. jesse is actively involved as an executive member of the universities CAIDSHP chapter. In the past he has worked in executive capacities for the University's Residence Association and MealExchange chapter.
Jesse's interest in HIV and AIDS stems from his recent Canada World Youth programme experience, in which he travelled to Brazil and Newfoundland for three months each. In Brazil Jesse volunteered for a Harm Reduction program reaching out to under-served populations promoting HIV and AIDS awareness.
Jesse's growing involvement with HIV and AIDS awareness has prompted him to aspire to pursue graduate studies in public health.
